I am honored to partner with children and their families in the therapeutic journey of exploring and growing. My strengths-based, individualized approach highlights and utilizes unique strengths to promote growth. Each child, family, developmental stage, and life circumstance benefits from different tools and approaches unique to their situation. My aim is to provide a relationship-based approach in which myself, children, and their families can develop a mutually trusting, respectful, and empathetic connection during this journey.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends trying new things – whether it be trying a new restaurant, visiting a new city, learning a new board game, or exploring a new museum or art exhibit. I also enjoy the simple things in life and I can often be found going on a walk, listening to music, and relaxing around the house.

University of Michigan, Master of Social Work

Calvin College, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

Prior to my work at Developmental Enhancement, I had diverse professional experiences with children, adolescents, and adults. Before graduate school, I had the opportunity to work in homeless social services, as well as adult crisis residential treatment. I was able to further develop my clinical skills through working on a research study which explored psychological and functioning outcomes of children who had been internationally adopted. Once in graduate school, I practiced as an outpatient child & adolescent therapist at the University of Michigan Health System. In that role, I primarily provided evidence-based therapy services to children and adolescents, as well as partnered with their caregivers. Most recently, I worked as an Assessment Specialist at St. John’s Home; providing comprehensive clinical evaluations and therapeutic support to children and adolescents in the foster care system.
