Profile
I love behavior analysis and love seeing the impact we have on families every day. This career allows me to see value and gratitude for all the “small” steps, and I get to see firsthand how those “small things” add up to great things.
I met my husband when I was fourteen, at band camp! We have four beautiful daughters and two adorable dogs. I am the most relaxed when I am in nature, and love to camp and fish. My husband and I are self proclaimed “foodies” and love to try new restaurants and dishes.

Experience
Upon graduation from WMU, I spent some time working with the Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Ottawa County. Due to a desire to be back in the realm of Autism treatment, I began working in a residential facility with individuals with developmental disabilities who exhibited severe behavioral and emotional difficulties. A strong desire to move in to early intervention, resulted in my leaving and opening a private practice focused on providing behavior analytic interventions to children and adolescents on the Spectrum. When insurance reform looked like it was going to pass in Michigan, I merged my private practice with DEBH and have been here since. Aside from my role as Director of ABA at DE, I also sit on two state boards related to early intervention.
