Facts
I have never lost a game of Pictionary.
I am known for packing too much for an outing but also for always having snacks. So, is it really too much?
I can’t remember numbers, but I can never forget a face.
"A failure is not always a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying." -B.F. Skinner
Profile
I grew up with my family on the lakeshore of West Michigan. Camping with my family and with the Boy Scouts throughout my childhood is where I developed a love for the outdoors. As a child I learned to draw to stay out of trouble and for the most part it worked. I have used art to share my interests with others and have given pieces as gifts to show my appreciation of others.
These days, I am usually hiking, kayaking, or fishing outdoors. I like to cook and bake for my friends and family. I still see my family on the lakeshore for fishing trips and family gatherings. Watercolor paints are my newest art medium; I enjoy making natural scenes with animals and landscapes and plan to do some more illustrative work with more fictional elements. I have been working on a couple of book ideas as a hobby and hope to publish one someday.
