My experiences prior to working at DE include working as a direct care worker in an independent living community for adults with developmental disabilities. I worked as a direct care worker for nearly three years. I had also volunteered at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum as part of an event known as Connor’s Friends. This event was designed for children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder and I had the pleasure of volunteering for this event 4 years in a row.
