I am a mom of two dogs, both rescued from the animal shelter. I enjoy taking them on hikes and to the beach in the summer time. I enjoy spending my time doing creative things including, knitting, crochet, drawing, painting, etc.. I also love spending time outdoors, going on hikes and kayaking. I grew up in northern Michigan and have learned how to fish, hunt, camp, ski, among other outdoor activities.

I was previously employed by Bethany Christian Services as a refugee foster care case manager, serving youth from Central America. I am fluent in Spanish and used my abilities in order to communicate with children coming in to the United States. I had the opportunity to learn Spanish while studying in Guatemala. My other experience involves administrative work in a study abroad office and a car dealership.
