“What man actually needs is not a tensionless state but rather the striving and struggling for some goal worthy of him. What he needs is not the discharge of tension at any cost, but the call of a potential meaning waiting to be fulfilled by him.” -Viktor E. Frankl
I grew up on the East side of the state, but have been in the Grand Rapids area for eight years now. In addition to working at DE, I am also a School Psychologist intern at a local school district.
In my free time (which is somewhat limited lately!) I enjoy napping with my cats, binge-watching Netflix, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy snowboarding in the winter!

In high school, I began volunteering in elementary schools, assisting in classrooms for students with ASD. During my third year as an undergraduate student, I took a practicum course where I was introduced to ABA and allowed me to continue to work with students with ASD in the schools. This experience evolved into a year-long research opportunity, which eventually lead me to DE. I began working at DE as a behavior technician in 2012 and have since had the opportunity to grow and further my education in school psychology and behavior analysis.
