I was born on the Pacific coast in Washington, and have been moving east ever since, including Montana, the Chicago area, and then West Michigan. I think I've stopped here.

Profile
I am married with with three grown children and three young grandchildren. Like most everyone, I have to work at maintaining a balanced life, with work, family, community involvements, and interests. We enjoy an active lifestyle, love hiking, cross country skiing, and kayaking, and follow U of M sports intensively. I also have a passion for photography, which I enjoy in my free time and whenever we get a chance to travel.

Experience
I have been a practicing clinical psychologist in the Holland area since 1988; providing services to children, adults, and families. Early career work through hospital outpatient programs led to a next chapter of private practice and consultation within school districts. I joined DE in 2015 as Director of the new Holland Clinic. In late 2018 I moved into the lead role as President of Developmental Enhancement. While maintaining a small caseload of clients, my primary responsibilities are in leadership and management of our ever-growing services to children and families.
