"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style." - Maya Angelou
Outside of work I love to spend majority of my free time outside, connecting with nature. Almost every weekend I go fly fishing in Rockford at the Rogue River or up at the beautiful Pere Marquette River. I also enjoy exploring and hiking new trails, going to the beach, kayaking, and camping. I hope to someday move out west to either Colorado or Montana to truly fulfill my love for the outdoors. I am also extremely enthusiastic and passionate about physical fitness and nutrition, with a love for promoting strength training.
Marquette University, Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology
Grand Valley State University, Master of Public Health
With a BS in Exercise Physiology, and a minor in Psychology, I have always had a passion for physical and mental health. During my college years I worked as a caregiver for a young man with Cerebral Palsy and volunteered as a wheelchair Rugby coordinator, in which both fueled my passion and desire to help others. After graduating college, I began working as a Physical Therapist Tech and gradually moved into a more administrative role working as the front desk receptionist. I plan to obtain my Master’s in Public Health to further my education and ability to work with and be a voice for vulnerable populations and communities.
